Two
weddings may be held on Saturdays in May, June, September & October, with
one starting in the afternoon (12 - 4 p.m.) and the second beginning at 6 p.m.
If you would like to be the only event that day, the amount is $6,000 for a
5-hour time slot. |
| Caterer: |
A caterer may be choosen from our approved list.
Click here for List of Caterers. Exceptions may be made
with management approval. Caterers must provide proof of license and insurance.
An additional kitchen fee will be charged for caterers not on the approved
list. |
| Note: |
When two weddings are held on Saturdays, the same caterer must be
used by both parties. Choice of caterer goes to the first scheduled lessee.
Choice of caterer must be made within 8 weeks or within one month of
notification of second event; whichever comes first. If not, caterer of choice
goes to the first person notifying decision of caterer. |

| Reservations: |
Date for 1840s Ballroom will only be held by a $1,000
(non-transferrable) deposit in cash or check. Balance due two months prior
to the event. If canceled more than six months in advance, there will be a $500
refund. If canceled between three and six months in advance there will be a $50
refund. Three months and under, no refund. |
| Furnishings: |
Rental includes 250 Chivari chairs, 25-60" round tables, dance
floor and English Pub Bar. |

Parking Options:
1. Harbor
Park Garage is located across President Street (on the corner of Lombard
& President Streets). Parking is held by credit card and will be validated
at the Ballroom for a $4 discount on regular garage rates. Harbor Park garage
requires a completed contract no less than 5 days prior to event. No discount
will be given for contracts supplied less than 5 days in advance. Lessees must
pre-pay before event. Call 1840s Ballroom to reserve parking at Harbor Park
garage (410-752-1624).
2. Little Italy Garage is located on E.
Pratt Street, one block south of the Ballroom (on the same side of President
Street). Call Kay Miller at 202-785-9191 x202 for pricing and parking
reservations at the Little Italy garage.
3. Limited on-street
parking. 18 meters are available on South Front Street, directly in front
of the Ballroom, and are monitored 24 hours, 7 days a week.
